Insurance law is divided into three categories, namely regulation of insurance business; Regulation of the contents of insurance policies, especially relating to consumer policy, and the latter handling regulations.
Before available insurance, the marine insurance law has existed long before that starts with the merchants of the Hanseatic League and financier of Lombardy in the 12th century and 13. These events are recorded in the name of Lombard Street in the City of London which is the oldest insurance trade market. After that insurance began to be known to and explored such as for spices, gold, silver, furs and other valuable items – including slaves – from the New World. Currently, insurance has undergone many changes and advances in which almost all human activities undertaken can be insured.
Some examples of insurance other than insurance law that might you have been known like Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Accident Insurance, Fire Insurance, Automobile Insurance, Warehouse Insurance, Home Insurance, Old Age Insurance, and others.
